Anka Stojanović

 

Born on December 5, 1989, in Belgrade.
She completed her primary education in Vreoci and attended the School of Arts in Užice, specializing in pottery. Afterward, she pursued her studies at the Academy of the Serbian Orthodox Church for Arts and Conservation in Belgrade, majoring in wall painting and fresco painting. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she obtained a Master’s degree in Church Arts from the same academy and later earned another Master’s degree at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade, at the Teacher Education Center.
By profession, she is a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Subject Teaching.
She lives and works in Lazarevac/Belgrade, Serbia.

Professional Achievements:
  • 2017: Became a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia.
  • Since 2018: Works as an art teacher in primary schools.
  • Since 2017: Creates murals in public and private interiors (kindergartens, children’s playrooms, cafes, restaurants
  • Actively participates in various events and traditional gatherings.
  • Through her artistic work, she donates artwork to humanitarian organizations, bazaars, and creative workshops for children and adults.
  • Engages in art education for children by teaching drawing and painting classes, organizing children’s exhibitions, and art colonies.
  • Apart from painting, she also works in illustration.
Awards:
  • 2004: Awarded for the best visual artwork in the Lazarevac Municipality on the theme “Music as an Inspiration for Young Artists.” The award was presented by the “Marko Tajčević” Primary Music School (inspiration – Russian spiritual music).
  •  2006: Silver medal and diploma at the International Competition for Young Visual Artists in Portugal.
  • 2013: Recipient of the Vidovdan Award from the Lazarevac City Municipality for young talents.
